Bioprinting combines what we know about digital manufacture (3D printing), stem cell technology, and other advanced biotechnologies developed over the past decades. Human organogenesis no longer belongs to Sci-Fi world. It is a maturing and growing industry, not only raising hope for many people who are the brink of life, waiting for lifesaving organ transplant (120,000 in the United States alone), improving lives of an aging population, but also making future pharmaceutical research and clinical trials quicker, safer, and more humane. Bioprinting and human organogesis will not only save innumerable lives but will prove to be critical to our survival as a species. This is a collaborative event brought to you by 3DHEALS and IndieBio. This event focuses on current state, challenges, and future goals of human organogenesis and bioprinting. We also thank our sponsor NixonPeabody LLP again for providing their amazing venue for this exciting conference.
