Applicant company entry qualification:
1. Product or technology needs to focus on healthcare applications using 3D printing or bioprinting/bio-fabrication technologies, 3D Visualization tools (e.g. VR/AR), or a combination of these.
2. The startup may be (and not limited to) software, hardware, or material oriented.

Jessica Zeaske – GE Venture
Jessica A. Zeaske, PhD, MBA, serves as Director of Healthcare Investments at GE Ventures in Boston, MA. At GE Ventures, Jessica focuses on Health IT, IT-enabled Health Services, and Non-Invasive Medical Technology investments. Jessica came to GE Ventures from Lemhi Ventures, a fund investing exclusively in health care services and HCIT with over $330M under management based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At Lemhi, Jessica developed investment hypotheses, sourced deals, ran diligence processes, and served on multiple Boards. Prior to joining Lemhi, Jessica worked on forming and spinning out companies based on University intellectual property at University of Minnesota and Oregon Health & Science University. Jessica began her career writing software for a start-up health care delivery company. She then moved to a merchant bank, Greenspring Advisors, where she wrote numerous business plans, evaluated, launched and invested in data-driven health care start-up companies. Jessica received an undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University, graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with a Master of Health Science and PhD, and completed her MBA with a focus on Healthcare Administration at Regis University. Jessica is currently on the Board of Apervita and Arcadia, and a Board Observer at CareMerge. She previously served on the Boards of PokitDok, PlanSource, OneHealth, Orasi Medical, and Medication Management Solutions. Jessica stays involved with Stanford University by volunteering in various capacities, coaches early stage companies in the public health sector, and serves as a start-up judge and panelist for multiple health care conferences.
AJ Perez – Cincinnati
AJ (Alfonso) Perez is the General Manager of Cincinnati Incorporated’s NVBOTS business unit. AJ was previously the Chairman, CEO, and Founder of New Valence Robotics Corporation (NVBOTS), an MIT 3D printing spin-off that invented automated 3D printing, cloud 3D printing, and ultra-high speed multi-metal 3D printing. AJ holds a BS ’13 in Mechanical Engineering and Masters of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing ’14 from MIT. His academic interests, lectures, and research focus on mechanical design, manufacturing processes automation, robotics, and entrepreneurship. AJ has developed and taught several classes during his career. Most recently, he co-developed the first graduate level 3D printing / Additive Manufacturing class for the department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. AJ is the final Lemelson-MIT Inventor Fellow, was selected as one of Boston.com’s 25 under 25, and won the prestigious Lemelson-MIT “use it” student prize. AJ is the primary inventor on 30+ inventions in the fields of additive manufacturing, mobile manufacturing, industrial IoT, and surgical devices.
John Hartner – Digital Industrialist
John F. Hartner has led technology companies around the world in electronics, cleantech, automation and digital printing industries. He is the founder of Digital Industrialist LLC, an advisory and investment firm focused on Industry 4.0, especially 3D printing for medical and dental industries. Previously he serves as the Chief Operating Officer of EnvisionTEC Inc. a leading provider of 3D printing solutions in medical, industrial and professional markets. Also he served as President of Dover Corporation’s technology segment, ran FMC Technology in Asia and he started his career at Rockwell International. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. He later completed his MBA at the University of Chicago. John serves on the Villanova’s College of Engineering Advisory Board, the board of the Maria Mitchell Science Center and is part of the Young Presidents Organization. John grew up in Pittsburgh where he was inspired by science and industry, his efforts today are to bring back the promise of manufacturing with the help of technology and global teams.
Mukund Menda – Alrai Capital
Mukund Menda serves as Director of Business Development & Investor Relations at Alrai Capital in New York. At Alrai Capital, Mukund focuses on fundraising, global bus. dev. of portfolio companies, due diligence and sourcing of new deals. Alrai Capital a Silicon Valley, New York & Dubai VC firm has invested in transportation, construction, real estate, media, food, fin-tech, e-commerce, consumer and pharmaceutical tech companies. With global investor, founder and enterprise networks, Alrai value adds portfolio companies across the country and the world. Mukund also serves as Director at World of Electricals, an energy, telecom and water company based in the U.A.E. & India. Mukund is based between Silicon Valley, New York and Dubai. Mukund received an undergraduate degree from #1 ranked school for entrepreneurship Babson College in Massachusetts and previously worked at ABB, KPMG Corporate Finance, and as a consultant to the United Nations World Food Program. In his spare time Mukund organizes finance classes for low income construction workers in Dubai.
