About the Lattice this week: For the lattice structure this week, we are featuring bioprinted organoid scaffolds that can be used for cell growth by Prellis Biologics @prellisbio. The lattice was inspired by Buckminsterfullerene molecule, which is a cage-like fused-ring structure (truncated icosahedron) that resembles a soccer ball, made of twenty hexagons and twelve pentagons.
The Lattice is 3DHEALS weekly recap of the latest news, publications, events in the world of healthcare 3D printing, and 3D Bioprinting. Have a cool 3D printed Lattice photo to share with us? Tag us @3dheals on Instagram or Twitter
